U.S. rig count shoots higher after declining for three straight weeks (NYSEARCA:USO)

Active rigs drilling for oil and gas in the U.S. increased by 7 to 589, the highest since mid-September, after declining by a single rig for three three consecutive weeks, Baker Hughes said Friday in its latest report.
